Trip up the Mountain

On Friday Aug. 1st Aunt Cozy took Mylee and we went up to the mountain. Russ, Jaylee, Papa, Me, & Jonny left late in the afternoon and then Chana and Sara came up after chana got home from work. And let me just warn you, i am not a horse person. That trail in certain spots scared the holy poop out of me. I told Jon that i was NOT coming down that way. And to begin, Jon told me that this was only going to be an hour ride up to the top....boy was he lieing. We were about 1 1/2 hours into the ride and Leon told me that we only had about a 1/2 hour until we were to Big water. Well about 20 minutes later he told me the EXACT same thing. And the bad thing was that he was following me. Well we finally get down to this little meadow with a little stream and Leon gets off his horse and says "Well, where should we set up camp?" I looked at him and started laughing. I said, "Get your butt back on your horse and lets go to Big Water." Little did I know, we were there. So we all got off the horses and started fishing. Chana and Sara showed up about 20 minutes later and started fishing. I believe that i was the one that caught the most and the biggest. But holy crap, the mesquitos got me the best. My neck and back is still covered in big red welts. When we decided that we had enough fish to eat, we stopped fishing. Russ was our camp chef...cooking us potatoes and fish. It was delicious. As we went to bed on the grass, Sara started freaking out about ladybugs. Everybody just ignored her, thinking that she was way over exaggerating. Well we woke up the next morning and realized that maybe she wasn't. And i told them that the orange ladybugs bite but the red ones dont. BIG MISTAKE...i didn't hear the end of that from Leon. But there was quite a bit of them on this little bush. Anyways, russ cooked up breakfast and hurried to pack up because he had to get back to go to the Temple with Sharla and Shain. So him and Jaylee headed off and we finished packing the horses and getting ready and we started off. I was dreading that part the whole entire time. But to tell the truth, it wasn't as bad as i thought. It was quite fun and I keep telling them that i will NEVER go back because it was scary, but i probably will.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

Time for some memories! Here are the rules.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. If you don't have a blog and don't know how to sign in, please comment as anonymous.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!
3. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all!
