4th of July Weekend

The first picture was taken memorial weekend showing all the damage and trees that came down from the moisture this last winter. We had over 50 trees down on my dad's property. So we all went up the 4th of july weekend to clean up. WOW!! was it a work out. We stayed up playing cards late at night. Yes COZY WON JON!!! we always have to keep playing one more round just to see if Jon can pull ahead. He hates when he loses to her. It's quite funny. But the cabin looks good again other than there is no shade anymore cause of all the trees that came down. Love all of you and it was a fun weekend with everyone.

So after we had the birthday party in march, came Easter. We went out to Hamlin Valley. We met Russ and his family out there and also there was mom & dad and Trav & Meg. The kids had a blast playing and the Easter Bunny found all the kids. We had a fun Easter Egg hunt for the kids. It was a good time. Next came Mother's Day. Just want to say thanks to all the wonderful MOM'S in my life especially my MOM. She is the APPLE to my kid's eye. She is such a wonderful example in my life and I love her very much. Thanks to all you do for us mom, we appreciate it. And to Nancy, I wished you were here more and more. Mylee is always asking me if we could go to heaven and bisit (thats how she says visit:) Grandma Platt and Jesus. I wished we could. Anyways after Mother's Day I had girls camp the middle of June. It was fun. The girls tried pranking us but didn't get us very good:) Next was Father's Day. Just want to tell Jon how much i love and appreciate everything he does for us. He is the best husband anyone could ask for. I look up to him a lot and appreciate the example he sets for me and my kids. Our Anniversary was the weekend after Father's Day. We didn't do anything other than we did go out to dinner. It was nice. It has been a good 5 years together. Lots of good memories. I LOVE YOU JONNY CAT!!!

Nancy 1st Birthday!!

I know I am only 4 months past but least i am trying to catch up. Nancy turned 1 on March 20th. She was so cute. She took her first step the night before her birthday. Her birthday fell on a Sunday so we had her party that night. We had all the family over for dinner and cake and ice cream. The cake was Jon's favorite part. I put him in charge of it. I made the cake and he was in charge of decoratiing it. Well he goes in the girls room and gets in the barn and gets some puppies and a bear. He makes it look like the puppies are chasing the bear. WOW!!! Leave it to Jon to think of decorating a 1 year old's cake like that. We had a fun time getting together and visiting. Nancy thought the money was the best. Look at her face:)

Catch Up!!

So i really need to play catch up to what has been going on in our lives. Christmas came and gone. Mylee got what she wanted - a toy box and play dough. Nancy got a dolly and a turtle with balls, which she loves. Jonny got what he wanted - a GPS tracking unit for the hound dogs, and i got surprised with a new video camera. It was a pretty good day. We spent it in Newcastle until christmas evening and then we went home. It was nice to visit all the family. We sent Leon on a scavenger hunt for his new bow all of us kids went in together and bought him. It was quite comical. He pretended like he didn't like the scavenger hunt but i think he really did. We are now into the new year and are grateful for what the last year has brought us. We have all stayed pretty healthy and cant complain. We recently had Teque and Carter's birthday on the 12th of January and then Jon's birthday on the 15th. Nancy started crawling a couple of weeks ago and is into EVERYTHING!! gosh i forgot what it is like having to keep an eye on a little one CONSTANTLY! Mylee is still in preschool and is loving it. At the first of this year she moved upstairs to the big kid primary which she loves singing the HELLO song. She misses playing in the nursery but she thinks she is a big kid. We have been very blessed. I love my family:)

Christmas Eve is HERE!!!

So Christmas is finally here. Mylee is super EXCITED for santa to come TONIGHT!!! We got over to here to NewCastle at about 4. We ordered all the kids matching pajamas and ironed on their names. They turned out SO cute. Mylee has asked Santa to bring her a toybox and playdough. So we will see if she has been a good girl this year after tonight. Everyone from Jon's family is sleeping over to Leon's except misty and her family. They are coming over early in the morning. So we have a FULL house but it is SURE fun. It is a little crazy though:) We hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and hope Santa Claus finds you tonight...We love you all.

Shark Museum & Air Show

The first weekend in November we took a trip to Vegas to spend the night. We took Jace and Carter with us. Turley, Misty, their kids, and Karol & Dana went also. We left Friday afternoon after Jon got home from work. We went down to Mandalay Bay to see the sharks which the kids EXTREMELY loved. They got to see Alligators, sharks, lion fish, sea turtles, stinging Rays, star fish, octopus, and much more. Mylee was scared of the alligator. She thought it could get out of the glass cage and get her. After we got done there we went to Circus Circus and let the kids ride all the rides. They had way to much fun. Then we headed to Chana's to spend the night. Her and Casey weren't there but they were so kind to let us sleep there. The next morning we got up and headed for the air show. Nancy wasn't too fond of it cause the loud planes breaking the sound barrier. Mylee liked it for about the first couple of hours and then got tired. The Boys loved it. After that we headed home. It was a fun little family trip.

HORRIBLE!!

Ok so i am horrible at blogging. i keep telling cozy to just blog for me, but to no surprise she tells me NO. So here i am blogging but i have no pictures with me. Not much has happened with the family since the horrible friday the 13th week. Mylee's forehead is getting better. Nancy is getting big. She has such the cute personality. Mylee turns 3 in 3 1/2 weeks. It makes me so sad how fast they grow up. She gets to go to pre-school starting on her birthday and that makes me REAL sad to think she is that big. Jon has just been working non stop. I love him and appreciate his hard work. I have officially went back to work at the store. It was a nice 5 1/2 months off but school had to start and i didn't have the school kids to cover my shift anymore. I did drop all my afternoon so i only work 3 mornings a week. So its not too bad. we are all doing good and can't complain about life.
